Building @ Lowes with Daddy and Peepaw

Jeff and his step dad have been taking the boys to the building projects at Lowes since we moved to VA. They look forward to this once a month outing with daddy and Peepaw. Usually the outing includes building the project, riding the tractors in the store, and eating lunch out. They have made some neat little things including: binoculars, monster trucks, and many other things.

Airplane Park 2012

We had an unusually warm day this fall so we took advantage of the weather. First we had to pick Quintin up from school early and then we took the boys to get milkshakes. We took them to a park that Jeff and I both knew very well as kids. It definitely seemed a lot more interesting when I was small, but our boys found it just as fun as we did when we were kids. The Airplane park in Hampton is where they display all kinds of aircraft's from armed forces to Nasa. The boys were a little disappointed they could not get inside them, but they seemed to understand why. They were too old for climbing or sitting on. I was amazed how long they looked at the planes before they asked to play on the play ground.

Quintins first soccer season fall 2012

Quintin told us he was ready to play soccer so this past fall we enrolled him to play with the city. He loved it from the start and did great for his very first season. His favorite position was goal. He was very serious about stopping the ball too. The field was not fun to him and he would mostly stay behind the crowd, but he did have a lot of fun running the field. Our boy sure does like to run.

After the season they had an award ceremony. All the kids received trophies, ribbons, and a gift certificate. The coach made an awesome cake that everyone enjoyed. It was a great first season of soccer.

Quintin Begins 4K

Jeff is in the Coast Guard so we move around a lot, but we were lucky to get stationed back home four his next tour. When we moved home we decided we were going to try and put Quintin in a Christian pre-school. Quintin is now enrolled at Hampton Christian Elementary and he has loved it from the beginning. He has learned so much and come so far in just 8 months. It was always our intent to do public school for our kids, but over the last few years God has changed our hearts. Christian School is not cheap so our alternative is homeschooling and we plan to take this one year at a time.

2.Why do you want to go back tomorrow? For Treasure Box
3. What was the most fun? Painting
4.Who is your new friend? Mikenna
5.Are you glad to be home? Only to play in my first soccer game!
