Polar Express 2011
While Jeff's parents were visiting for our last Christmas in Texas, we took a trip to Palestine, Texas. There they have the Texas state Railroad and at Christmas time they do a Polar Express adventure. It was a lot of fun for the kids. The train took us to the North Pole while we enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate. While we were riding the conductor came around and signed books that the kids brought. We were also told the story of the "Polar Express" on our way to the North Pole. When we arrived a the North Pole we picked up Santa and he came around giving all the boys and girls the first gift of Christmas, "the bell". On the way back from the North Pole the kids were invited to dance in the aisles but Quintin refused. He has never really been into music and dancing but this time around he seemed just moody. He sat in his seat and covered his ears. Zach on the other hand, had a blast dancing with all the kiddos in the aisle. It was a great time for the kids and they even got to experience everything in their pajamas!!
